Took a trip to NYC on Thursday to hang out with Brian “Dratsum” Hyde and Tommy Unit, and to go see Flag. Had a blast. Here’s some photographic evidence.
Rock N Roll Manifesto 162
Tommy Unit said tonight, “from Hank, Sr. to the Misfits in under an hour! Only on the Rock N Roll Manifesto!” That about sums up my show perfectly. I love it!
Had some tributes to the recently departed, some birthday shoutouts, some requests and lots of great rock n roll tonight. Check it out.

Rock N Roll Manifesto 160: Protest Songs
With all that’s been going on stateside lately, I thought it was a perfect opportunity to throw together a show focused upon anti-war songs and social and political protest songs. I asked the Manifesto listeners for some suggestions, and then dove into my stacks of music and picked out the best songs I could find about a variety of topics. I spent a lot of time putting this show together, even more-so than usual, so I hope that the end result is a show that people will really like. Either way, thanks for listening. Next week, I’ll be back with a normal, all-over-the-place show.

Rock N Roll Manifesto 159
Back to the normalcy of a regular Manifesto tonight, as it should be, I suppose. No theme, just music from all over the place. Played 3 new kick-ass singles from Rapid Pulse Records tonight, go pick them up over at Underground Medicine.
Buy a shirt, make my day! Review the Manifesto in iTunes. Follow me on Twitter @RnRManifesto. Remember to tip the DJ!
See ya next week, folks.

Rock N Roll Manifesto 157: Cover Your Ass 3
The Manifesto is back with another installment of Cover Your Ass, original songs backed with cover versions- some straight, some completely different. You may like the original better, or maybe the cover. Either way, I hope you dig the stuff I’ve picked out, and I’ll be back live next week.
Sorry for the crappy beer picture, my wife has the camera.
Just realized that I played a set of songs that I’ve played before in the Cover Your Ass series, so I edited them out, which will make the episode slightly shorter than it would have been. Damn my brain!

More of what you’re used to on the Rock N Roll Manifesto. Play loud!
Next week I won’t be live, but I will try my best to get a podcast done for you folks so you’ll still be able to tune in during my live time slot if you want to. I will return to my regular live show on August 21st.
If you want to buy a shirt, send me an email. I have S, M and L for guys and girls. They are $18.00 shipped in the US and $26 to the rest of the world. I need to sell a bunch more to break even. If I break even on these I will get some bottle openers!

Rock N Roll Manifesto 155
I totally forgot to take a picture of my beer tonight, so you get one I found on Google.
Manifesto 155 was the normal mix of genres: punk, glam, girl groups, soul, R&B, mod, power pop, hardcore and more.
T-shirts are available. If you want one but didn’t order one previously, drop me an email with the size you’d like.
Until next time, folks!

Rock N Roll Manifesto 154: 3 Years!
3 years! Tonight’s show was the 3 year anniversary of the Rock N Roll Manifesto, to the day. July 24th, 2010 was the very first Manifesto ever. The show was even longer than usual tonight with lots of great music, including a flash back to the very first set ever played on the Manifesto, a great Beer Minute, Brats in Leather Jackets and so much more.
Also, the Rock N Roll Manifesto shirts are here! I have emailed everyone who said they wanted one. As soon as I get all those people taken care of, I’ll list the rest for sale on the Merch page.
Thanks to all of you who make doing this so much fun!
