3 years! Tonight’s show was the 3 year anniversary of the Rock N Roll Manifesto, to the day. July 24th, 2010 was the very first Manifesto ever. The show was even longer than usual tonight with lots of great music, including a flash back to the very first set ever played on the Manifesto, a great Beer Minute, Brats in Leather Jackets and so much more.
Also, the Rock N Roll Manifesto shirts are here! I have emailed everyone who said they wanted one. As soon as I get all those people taken care of, I’ll list the rest for sale on the Merch page.

As a follow up to last week’s show of sexually charged punk n roll, here’s an episode of nothing but dirty R&B and blues. This episode of the Manifesto was all sleazy, dirty, sexually suggestive songs. Mostly punk rock, but also some rockabilly, psychobilly and more. Even had a great Brats in Leather Jackets that fit the theme.
I was trying out new broadcasting software this time around. It’s not quite how I want it yet, unfortunately. You’ll probably notice my speaking parts are a bit high in the mix. I’m also having trouble when I add songs to the playlist, and that’s bugging the shit out of me. Oh well, I’ll keep plugging away.

Manifesto 151 was more of what you’re used to by now- a genre defying trip! There’s two kinds of music, folks: good and bad. If it’s good, you’ll hear it on the Rock N Roll Manifesto.
Some news: there will be no live Manifesto on July 17th. I will be at the beach. If I have time, I’ll try and muster up a podcast for you folks, but no guarantees. Also, July 24th is the 3 year anniversary of the Manifesto. Have any ideas for what I should play or what I should do? Let me know either via email or Twitter. Lastly, the t-shirts have finally been ordered, and I should hopefully have them by the 3 year anniversary show.

So, episode 150 came and went with little fanfare, but it was a whole lot of fun, at least. There was a birthday shoutout, a get-well, a tribute to a recently passed blues legend, some thank yous, some requests, a new RnRM promo, news on the RnRM shirts and a whole lot of kick ass music. Most folks who listen to the Manifesto tell me that the thing they like most is the unpredictable nature of it. The fact that the show can go from hardcore punk to soul, from metal to country and so on. Tonight I decided to celebrate the unpredictable diversity of the show and made a point to play sets from all different genres. It was a fun ride for me. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I did putting it together.

Fun show tonight! As per usual, my listeners came through with some great requests that fueled much of this show. Thanks, everyone! I also played some tracks in memory of Stiv Bators, Conway Twitty and Dee Dee Ramone, there was a great trip to Belgium with this week’s Brats in Leather Jackets, and a Beer Minute I had to smuggle in from another state. Over the weekend I watched the documentary, “A Band Called Death,” so I wanted to talk a bit about it, and play some tracks from Death and Rough Francis. The movie really is a must-see if you’re a music fan. Check it out at abandcalleddeath.com.
Yesterday, I singled out some regular listeners on Twitter and asked them if they had any requests. The response was great, and it basically helped me to fill out the rest of the show. Throw in a Beer Minute and Brats in Leather Jackets and you have 2 hours of great music!
